Bought this for our new kitten who kept trying (and failing) to jump on the bed. Works great, but the assembly instructions could be clearer. Took me about 20 minutes to figure out the reversible ramp/stair configuration. Now our cat uses it constantly and it looks nice in our bedroom!

The quality surprised me - solid wood construction feels very sturdy. My 60lb bulldog uses it daily without issues. My only complaint? The carpet material collects fur like crazy. Needs frequent vacuuming, but that's a small price to pay for keeping my old boy safe.

Perfect solution for our arthritic cat! The gradual steps are just right - not too steep. I actually use it more than expected myself as a footrest while watching TV. One suggestion: maybe add rubber grips on the bottom? It slides a bit on our hardwood floors.
